A Sea Change for Turkey in Europe

Proliferating policy disagreemtns, led by Syria compelled Ankara to seek ways to mend its broken relationship with EU. While hig-levle state visits look good “optically”, former ambassador Marc Pierini argues that   EU has shut its doors firmly to any progress.

Even a simple favor such as waving the humiliating  visa requirements  won’t be granted, as Ankara refuses to  review its draconian Anti-Terror Law, as the linked article reports.
