‘Inconsistent, unpredictable’ Turkey is caught between US and Russia in Syria

Turkey’s biggest diplomatic problem is that it lacks principals. Ankara swaps dance partners, whenever the music changes. Since the arrival of Prof Davutoglu on the political scene as foreign policy strategist, Turkey has gone through several cerebral convulsions which carried it from West to East to West to Russia’s lap and now to the shores of White House. Ankara simply doesn’t understand that it is no longer viewed as a reliable partners by anyone its presumed allies. The following article voices this concern. No matter what Trump decides to do in Syria, chances of Turkey benefiting is low.
